Welcome to Only Hashes. Your privacy is not just a feature—it’s a core principle of how we build. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data while you use our apps. Our philosophy is simple: we don’t collect what we don’t need, and we don’t store what we don’t use.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We take a no-compromise approach to privacy:

  • No Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
  • No Account Required: Bitcoin Sidekick does not require user registration or sign-in.
  • No Location Tracking: We do not request or track your location.
  • No Third-Party Analytics or SDKs: We do not embed third-party advertising, analytics tools, or social media SDKs.

2. Data We Handle (On-Device Only)

All processing is done locally on your device. This includes:

  • Watch Wallets: Bitcoin addresses you track are stored only on your device. We do not upload, share, or analyze these externally.
  • Home Screen Widgets & Preferences: Your configuration is saved on-device. We do not access or back up this data.
  • Biometric Access (if enabled): We use Apple’s native biometric authentication APIs (Face ID/Touch ID/Optic ID) to protect sensitive areas of the app. Your biometric data is never accessed or stored by our apps.

3. Network Activity

To provide real-time Bitcoin market insights, we securely fetch publicly available data from external APIs. These include:

  • Market price and charts
  • Blockchain mempool and on-chain metrics
  • Bitcoin news aggregation
  • Wallet balance queries (for watched addresses)

Important:
We do not associate these requests with any user identity, nor do we log IP addresses. These queries are anonymized by design and made without cookies or tracking headers.

4. No Ads, No Tracking

Our apps are ad-free and do not use any behavioral tracking. We don’t build user profiles. Your usage stays private and on your terms.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our apps are not designed for children under 13. However, since we do not collect personal data from any user—regardless of age—there is nothing stored on our servers to delete or remove. All data remains on your device.

6. Security Practices

We apply the following security measures:

  • Biometric App Lock (optional)
  • On-device storage encryption
  • Secure connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmissions

Your information never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share something (e.g., sharing a chart screenshot).

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be posted within the app and, when applicable, updated in the App Store listing. We recommend checking this section periodically.
